Who are we?
Launched in July 2017, BXE is a multi-strategy digital asset firm with a proven track record of success. BXE has established itself as a thought leader and one of the most well-respected inventors in the digital asset space. BXE is consistently ranked in the top 10 Commodity Trading Advisors and/or Cryptocurrency Funds on a monthly basis, according to BarclayHedge global rankings.

Over 80 years of combined experience across domestic payments, fintech, banking, accounting, finance, securities law, cryptocurrency exchanges, digital asset investing, venture capital, and alternative asset management.

Digital Asset Investor since 2014. Blockchain Technology VC Investor. Governor Appointee to Wyoming Cryptocurrency Advisory Council. Former President of payment services company. Background in payments, financial services, and FinTech investing.

Matthew Kaufman
Managing Partner
Partner with Hathaway & Kunz, LLP. Legal practice focused on corporate, securities, digital assets, and regulatory. Two Governor Appointee to the Wyoming Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology and Digital Innovation. Co-drafter of multiple Wyoming legislative bills relating to digital assets, banking, business entities, and securities. Represented the first successful Wyoming digital asset bank (SPDI) charter, the first two Wyoming DAO LLC’s, the first Wyoming intrastate crowdfunding offering, and has over seventeen years of experience representing technology, financial, and (more recently) digital asset projects and companies.
